Google Maintains Market Share Dominance

With all Google’s recent updates, it’s no surprise they maintain dominance against Yahoo!, and Bing. Many recent headlines have been showcasing Google’s competitors’ newest strategies and anticipated plans, it will be interesting to see whether their advancements will put a dent in Google’s market share authority. Statistics provided by Net Market Share.

Google’s Done It Again

Google advances 2% higher than last month’s shares; however, their competitors have halted them from matching last year’s dominance. Nonetheless, Google’s strong lead against its competition remains.

Yahoo! Holds At 6%

Yahoo! is still holding on to the second place for English search engines. In comparison to last May, Yahoo! only shows decimals of share improvement.

Bing Drops Slightly

Bing’s held on to the four’s for the past four months. Maybe Bing’s newest alliance with Yelp will lead its shares into the 5% mark.

Baidu Remains Unstable

Chinese search engine Baidu drops once again. Baidu’s inconsistency continues to influence the market share of its English competitors.
