Google held its position as did the other major search engines Yahoo! and Bing. The Chinese search engine Baidu saw a gain of ~1%. Stats provided by Net Market Share.
Google has made a recovery from its February 2012 slump and remains comfortably ahead of the pack at ~79% desktop search engine market share.
Yahoo! is up over 1% since its yearly low of 5.55% in December 2011, but still remains a distant second behind Google.
Bing seems to hover around the 4% mark each month. They’re up 0.69% since last year but continue to trail Yahoo! and of course, Google.
Chinese search engine Baidu continues to carve a chunk out of worldwide search engine market share as the country’s online population expands.
