Google Expands Free Google Shopping Listings, Adds New Tools to Assist SMBs

Google Shopping

Google recently made its Shopping product listings free for US businesses in April. Now, they're expanding its free display option to businesses across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. As well, they are adding new tools to help SMBs cope with losses incurred due to COVID-19.

Until recently, Google's Shopping Tab Listings had been paid, based on Google's regular ad bidding process. But now, Google is making the listings available for free (although some slots will remain paid)!

Google facilitates hundreds of millions of shopping searches every day. If they provide a free listing option, it means more retailers are benefitted. This will help small businesses connect with their audiences, especially during peak shopping seasons across the region!

If you already use Merchant Center or Shopping Ads, your listings will automatically show up for free!

New Instagram Resources For Small Businesses

New Instagram Resources For Small Businesses

Instagram is coming up with a new mini-site full of the latest resources to help small businesses get the most of Instagram Shops. As we know, Instagram Shops launched back in May to enable businesses to set up an online storefront for free.

Businesses that are new to the feature will find it difficult to navigate the new tool. As such, Instagram is launching a selection of resources to help businesses take full advantage of their Instagram page.

Instagram's new mini-site is designed for beginners who are new to the platform's shopping features. Businesses with an intermediate or advanced level of experience will already be familiar with these resources.

The mini-site will have all the information from setting up a storefront to how you can manage shopping ads on the platform.

So, how do you can you get free Shopping listings?

How to Use Gamification to Increase Your Conversion Rates

Gamification and website conversions

Are you looking for more conversions on your website? Do you feel that your prospects are just coming to your site and are unhappy about the fact that you don't have anything to offer them? Getting engagements from your potential customers can be challenging.

Today, you see marketing messages, imagery and various other similar things all over the internet. This leave it being quite difficult to cut through the noise. So, how do you grab their attention?

If you get your prospects to engage with valuable content on your website, it means they can potentially convert. Marketing is a game of give and take. So, if you want people to take something off your website, you must be able to give them a reason to interact with your content.

Prospects usually tend to interact with marketing collateral if they see something that offers them value—an incentive, or exchange of useful information or just recognition.

Read on to find out the ways you can make your content irresistible to your prospects and colleagues!

LinkedIn Rolls Out Stories Feature to All Users

LinkedIn rolls out stories feature to all users

After days of rigorous testing, LinkedIn finally rolled out Stories last week to all the US and Canadian users. They will be expanding the feature to more regions in the coming days, as the company announced last week.

So what are stories?

Stories are social media feed videos that last up to 20 seconds or a photo clip where you can add texts, GIFs, filters, music, and more to share with your friends. They disappear after 24 hours.

Now, like Instagram and Facebook, where you add stories about what is happening in your personal life, LinkedIn will also have a story feature to add about what's happening in your professional life.

The story feature on LinkedIn is useful for brands to highlight personal achievements, educate customers and prospects, share your experience, show what is happening behind the scenes, and show off your business. To learn more about how the feature can be useful for your brand, continue reading the article.
