After announcing in May that they would be testing ads in virtual reality, Facebook is almost ready to take those tests live with ads in the Oculus Quest title Blaston from Resolution Games. The experiment will expand to two other as yet unnamed developers in the next few weeks.
The advertisements, deemed as “in-headset ads” by Facebook, are part of the company’s search for ways to help game developers generate revenue.
