Shopify vs WooCommerce

Many eCommerce businesses go big with their ideas in the initial stages, but then fail to acquire the audience they need. This is what makes them tap into the power of search engine optimization (SEO). Getting the right platform helpful for SEO is important if you are trying to take advantage of it right from the start. If you can get an SEO-effective platform, then its a double-win for you!

So what makes SEO so important to business?

SEO is very cost-effective, as it can be done easily on your website by yourself. It is also good for your website as it can potentially rank your website on SERPs.

That's some of the proved points that make SEO a must-have asset for any online store. So what can Shopify and WooCommerce do and which position do they hold in this SEO competition? Read on to find out!

YouTube Moves to the Testing Phase for its TikTok-Like "Shorts" Option

YYouTube testing TikTok

YouTube started working on a new, TikTok-like, short-form video option within YouTube. This provides YouTubers with a new way to tap into the rising, 15-second clip trend.

YouTube has shared some details about the upcoming function.

As per YouTube:

"We're testing out a new way for creators to easily record multiple clips directly in the YouTube mobile app and upload as one video. If you're in this experiment, you'll see an option to 'create a video' in the mobile upload flow. Tap or hold the record button to record your first clip, then tap again or release the button to stop recording that clip. Repeat these steps until you're done capturing footage up to a maximum length of 15 seconds."

We still don't know entirely how this function will look like. The UI will, however, seek to replicate TikTok in any way. Before deciding whether to move forward with the experiment, YouTube's rolling out the test to a small number of users on both Android and iOS.
