Advertisement on Google is about to get much more visual. Google is about to unroll their new advertisement format (soon for Canada as well), which will display visual images along with the standard text ad setup for Google AdWords. A company spokesperson says that they’ve “found that people are twice as likely to click on a Product Listing Ad as they are to click on a standard text ad in the same location.”
The NHL has now teamed up with Google to display Hockey Scores in real-time! By pulling data results from all the official NHL’s site, you can now find snippets featuring links to live scores, live streams, standings and even video highlights! Lastly, NHL has added an option for one to buy tickets for future games with one simple link.
Keep an eye on your Facebook Inbox this season, as a new viral trend could end up to be a gift for you this Christmas! This year, Facebook is projected to be one of the largest traffickers of online gift cards. Major corporations like Amazon, Kmart, and even Starbucks, are allowing people to purchase themed gift cards from their company Fan Pages. Once purchased, these can be easily shared to anyone on their friends list!
