Facebook advertisers in service-based industries can now take leads from form submission to confirmed appointment without the prospect leaving the platform. Meta announced Embedded Appointment Booking for Lead Ads Instant Forms on June 24, 2026, with HighLevel confirmed as a launch partner via a PR Newswire release the same day.
How the Feature Works
The feature is designed to reduce the number of steps between lead generation and appointment scheduling. A scheduling widget from a supported booking provider appears on the thank-you page immediately after a lead submits an Instant Form. Users can view available time slots, select a date and time, and confirm an appointment within the same interface.

The contact information provided in the lead form, including name, email address, and phone number, is automatically transferred to the booking widget, eliminating the need for users to enter the details again.
Appointment confirmations and notifications continue to be managed through the connected scheduling platform, allowing businesses to handle follow-ups, reminders, and appointment management through their existing systems.
Setup and Supported Partners
Setup requires no technical integration. In the Instant Form editor, advertisers select the booking CTA and paste their scheduling link. The system detects the calendar provider automatically and enables the embedded experience.

At launch, the feature supports scheduling platforms Calendly and HighLevel. Support for HubSpot is scheduled to be added in early August, with additional partners expected to be introduced later.
HighLevel confirmed its selection as a launch partner in a June 24 press release, noting that Meta identified it as one of two calendar tools with the broadest adoption among lead generation advertisers.
HighLevel's integration is rolling out in stages through 2026, reaching 25% of advertisers on June 24, 50% on August 10, and full availability in November.
Businesses can customize call-to-action text and use qualifying questions within Instant Forms before users reach the appointment booking stage.
Placement Availability and Rollout Timeline
The feature is currently being rolled out for ads shown in the Facebook app, with global availability expected by October. The feature does not embed natively across all Meta placements. On placements where embedded booking is not supported, including Instagram, users will see a "Book time" button that opens the scheduling page within an in-app browser.
Implications for Service-Based Advertisers
For digital marketers running lead generation campaigns for appointment-dependent businesses, such as medical clinics, legal consultants, home services contractors, or financial advisors, this feature compresses what has traditionally been a multi-step, multi-platform conversion process into a single in-app session. Reducing hand-off points between form submission and calendar booking is a standard optimization lever for improving lead-to-appointment conversion rates; removing that friction at the moment of submission, rather than relying on follow-up emails or retargeting, is expected to increase the proportion of leads that reach the booking stage.
Meta stated in its product documentation that "we're excited to partner with HighLevel as one of the first two companies helping businesses connect scheduling experiences directly within Meta's ecosystem," adding that the goal is to make it easier for businesses "to turn customer interest into booked appointments through seamless in-app experiences."
