TechWyse is looking for a passionate leader to help continue growing our Social Media, & Content department.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Strategy, the Manager Social Media, Content & Brand is responsible for creating, managing and executing digital marketing campaigns for a broad range of clients along with managing a small internal team and a larger team of freelance writers.

This role offers significant opportunity for career development since the right candidate will be leading the social media and content team and representing the agency to our clients.

Planning, developing, presenting and delivering successful social media and content strategies for clients is a core component of this role. Additional responsibilities for this role also includes assisting in outreach and communication to help support our client’s and inter-company’s online marketing and branding campaigns.

This role is best suited for a self-motivated individual with at least 2 years of similar management experience in delivering results in a fast paced agency environment.


  • Oversee and improve all processes related to content creation and social media work for our clients, our own brand.
  • Oversee our internal content and social team and guide them on best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and improve internal processes as needed.
  • Coach and mentor teammates / subordinates as needed within the context of social media and content for websites, emails, webpages, press releases, infographics and similar digital marketing collateral.
  • Directly manage the team of remote freelance writers.
  • Own delivery of client social media, content marketing and brand campaigns from plan to production including: briefing, ideation, channel recommendations, creative development, planning, implementation and management.
  • Manage all content and social media marketing calendars to ensure regular delivery throughout the year that aligns with client marketing objectives
  • Work closely with the SEO, Outreach and Paid Media teams to devise content, social media and brand strategies that align with client’s and inter-company’s wider goals to build engagement, increase visitors, awareness and generate leads.
  • Own and manage various content and social media related weekly, monthly performance trackers and tools.
  • Support team members with client calls and pitches as the subject-matter-expert on both social media and content.
  • Lead meetings related to existing projects and new business and reporting on results
  • Liaise with the SEO Department to develop a targeted approach to writing content that includes writing informative search engine optimized copy.
  • Create and execute the content and social media strategy for Brand ‘TechWyse’ across media such as webinars, video assets, tools and outreach pieces, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube and Pinterest.
  • Own the process and deliverables on review management and solicitation services.
  • Overseeing the management of client inbound and social marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities, including online advocacy and monitoring, editorial content, content writing, community-outreach efforts, aggregating article and video content, distributing content to content sites
  • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts for TechWyse and on behalf of clients
  • Offer pre-sales support to account management and sales as needed
  • Spot opportunities to upsell / cross sell social media, content and review management services when possible
  • Oversee the writing, editing and managing of PR and marketing materials including press releases, blog content, media updates and other content writing activities


  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience in a similar managerial capacity
  • Experience with any project management and/ or work management tool
  • Experience with industry relevant tools such as Hootsuite used for content and social media
  • Have a good understanding of on-page SEO from a web content standpoint.
  • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Native verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
  • Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management, social and brand)
