What can content do for you?

Content is the material supporting each and every link built back to your website. Without content your links would only have empty pages to point to, and we all know how much Google would just love that!

Speaking of Google, did you know that they are extending even more authority to authors and publishers. What does this mean for you? Well, for starters if you register as a Google Author you could get extra love for your content this way, and if you are someone who regularly publishes work by Google Authors (say as a part of a guest posting program) you might be looking at a few benefits coming your way as well.

Original content delivers!

  • Work towards establishing yourself as an authority

Google loves fresh, original, unique content... but if you're not bringing your "A game," you can bet that they're going to notice.

People love content because...Generally speaking people love content that is:

  • Informative
  • Entertaining
  • Educational

Some combination of these characteristics is going to be great, and the more of them you can claim for each piece of your content the better you are going to appear in the eyes of both human readers and search engines.

Yeah! A website with enough and useful content receives more user visit duration. It is a great way to inbound traffic, setting up brand awareness as well as creating natural link popularity.

How often are google algorithms modified significantly enough to drastically impact site rank? Is it really something of concern?

I agree with everything in this article.
Content is the only reason why anybody would ever go on your website anyway. If the content isn’t good, then it’s useless to them.

What makes quality content? Is it the presentation? Or is it the accessibility of the information? If a company had many modes of communication so that the customer can learn is that more important that maybe just one social media outlet that is top notch in design and set up?

They key to a good PR and good google ranks has always been quality unique content. If you engage your reader by solving a problem, it’s even better. I own a website and can’t wait for the next Page Rank Update. It was supposed to be in June but it didn’t happen. Great article and great images.
