Mobilegeddon isn’t a bad thing for marketing! A lot of people are only seeing this as a threat to their existing website, which is only true in the short term sense. Your site is going to have to adapt to all the changes that come in the future – you knew that when you first started. This is a minor hurdle right now, though, and it’s being blow out of proportion.

You’re going from desktop-only sites that work poorly on phones and tablets, to mobile-centric sites that work well on desktops.
The challenge will be reintegrating your advertising, but since Google is at the head of that industry as well, it’s likely they’re about to roll out a suite of changes to help webmasters adapt that, too.
