Regarding the first item on the list – the relationship between PPC and SEO. Some companies do not like to bid on their branded terms if they are already receiving high rankings in the organic results. I’m more in the frame of mind that it’s important your brand take advantage of as much of the above the fold screen real estate as you can. You will likely gain position one, allowing your sitelinks to be displayed as well. Plus you have direct control over the ad copy and which sitelinks to include – which you don’t with organic listings.
