With the top four search engines holding 98 per cent market share, Google is the only one to prosper this month. Yahoo! and Bing continue to release new changes and updates; however, their strategies have yet to touch Google’s share supremacy. Statistics provided by Net Market Share.
Google is Doing Just Fine
Panda 3.9 didn’t waste any time. As expected, did Google produce a better consumer search result? Could this be what has lead Google to its highest share dominance in the past six months?
Even with Google’s 2% increase this month, Yahoo! held its ground. Marissa Mayer’s recent changes have mostly been internal; however, it indicates a desire for innovation.
Bing hasn’t been making changes to its search platform yet Bing’s been focusing on improving on its Webmaster Tools. Bing is always looking for new ways to attract new users.
Chinese search engine Baidu took the largest hit this month, basically passing 2% of its shares over to Google.
