The Most Recommended Google Ads Display Specs:

  1.  Square (250 x 250)

Square is a versatile format that works well on both portable electronic devices and computers. It can adapt itself to the most accessible areas on websites because it is a responsive ad form. It’s easy to organize images and text on these, and adaptable commercials make it simple to reach out to previous viewers.

   2.  Medium Rectangle (300×250)

On Google’s display networks, the medium rectangle is the most common banner format. Since it works well for mobile, text, and display, it is a popular choice among advertisers. Because it is compatible with all devices, this format is used in 34% of all advertisements. Even so, Google suggests keeping just half of an ad this size above the fold and hiding the other half to avoid overwhelming users.

  3.  Large Rectangle (336×280)

When used in sidebars and primary on-page content, this is an ideal size that performs well. Since it’s evident, most publishers prefer it. However, the Large rectangle display ads don’t function for mobile display ads, but they perform similarly to medium rectangles. We’ll notice them more often at the ends of posts and embedded in-text.

   4.  Banner (468 x 60)

When most people visit a website, the top of the page or above the fold is the first thing they notice. Banner ads roll across the top of the page, catching the eye and setting off your remarketing campaign. In comparison to the leaderboard ad, they are normally thin and long.

   5.  Leaderboard (728×90)

The leaderboard is a well-known ad format that is commonly seen in forums. It grabs the audience’s attention quickly because of its size and can be seen just above the navigation bar. The long horizontal width increases its effect on viewers and increases their likelihood of clicking it. Since they are in a ‘viewer friendly’ format, larger ad sizes perform better than other dimensions.

  6.  Half Page (300×600)

It occupies nearly half of the web page, making it ideal for increased interaction. It has a more significant impact on the viewer due to its scale. 300×600 is one of the fastest-growing ad sizes in terms of views. This reflects a trend in which advertisers are providing more visually impactful ad sizes that brand marketers prefer.

  7.  Mobile banner (320 x 50)

In a mobile web browser, the 320×50 is usually displayed as an adhesive unit at the top or bottom of the screen, or inside the body of the text. For branding campaigns, the 320×50 is ideal, particularly where high viewability is needed.

   8.  Large Mobile Banner (320×100)

Large Mobile banners are only displayed on mobile devices. Since its height is twice the standard 320 x 50 mobile leaderboard banner, it fits the width of mobile device screens.

   9.  Skyscraper (120 x 600)

The Skyscraper is ideal for showcasing downward descending visuals when placed in the sidebars. The narrow-width design will work in places where most larger ads can’t. It has a consistent promotional impact.

    10.  Wide skyscraper (160 x 600)

You can use wide skyscraper ads as your Google display ad size to help people recognize your brand. This is a convenient vertical Google ad size since there is more space available. These ads run along the sides of websites and cover a larger area than the standard skyscraper ad.
