Savers Mortgage is a full service Mortgage Broker/Lender that works to obtain mortgages with terms and conditions that fit the applicant’s needs. Savers Mortgage has been in business for over 25 years and has arranged mortgages totaling over 2.5 billion dollars. These mortgages were acquired in Ontario for commercial and residential applicants.

Requirements:

Savers Mortgage was in need of a fresh new look on their website. They were looking for an inviting design which has the core objective of generating conversions through online applications and leads.

After learning about the business and understanding the objectives of the website, we documented some of the following requirements:

• The website needed user friendly application forms and clear call to actions on each page for the online application
• Because Savers Mortgage uses offline marketing tools such as TV, radio and newspaper, we needed to ensure tracking was installed in Google analytics to measure the effectiveness of offline advertising
• When selling mortgages, it is important to build trust with the user on the website. Because of this we determined it was important to include and FAQ and testimonials section
• Search engine optimization was also an important requirement and the site would have to be built in a search engine friendly manner

With all the requirements documented, we moved forward with the creative and development following the requirements every step of the way.

Result:

The result of this project was a new website with a fresh new look and all the functionalities required to generate applicants for Savers Mortgage.

Some of the website development features include:

• Short and long online mortgage application forms
• A WordPress content management system that allows easy changes to content and is SEO friendly
• Individual tracking methods for all online advertising

After the launch of this website, Savers Mortgage is showing an increase in online leads and presence. The site’s fresh new look creates a strong online brand for the business.
