About Oh Baby:

Oh Baby! Is both a print and online magazine dedicated to providing readers with information to support them through pre-conception, during pregnancy, and throughout their child’s early years. The Goal of the online version of their magazine was to create a purely content driven website which would offer daily blog articles from a number of authors to their readers – while also featuring regular contests and giveaways from their advertisers.

Requirements

The team at Oh Baby! was looking for a website that would accommodate a number of authors and publishers which would be easily managed in their admin. They also needed to incorporate a sophisticated yet easily manageable backend which would accommodate frequent updates with their banner ads and contests.

The following list of requirements outlines some of those objectives:

• Incorporate easily accessible quick contact and contest forms that easily and efficiently capture emails for their newsletter (their bread and butter)
• Develop a simple to use, Word Press blog with ability to manage multiple authors and publishers each with different access and ability to editing content

• Implementing a simplified administrators Content Management System (CMS) that allows the admin to update, add or manipulate the majority of the content throughout the site from news articles to contests to Deals & Coupons
• Incorporating social media share buttons and links that allow the user to easily connect with the client’s business via social media platforms
• Incorporating an easy to manage Ad Banner management system

Results

The new look Oh Baby! Online Magazine proved to be a huge hit! Coupled with their innovative marketing ideas, the new Oh Baby! online platform has seen massive amounts of traffic and the response is extremely positive by all of their visitors. Oh Baby! has seen a large increase in user participation and their email captures through quick contact forms and contest forms has gone through the roof since the launch of their new website.
