About iMetal

iMetal is a metal manufacturer providing products to the construction, grocery, hotel, restaurant, and hospital industries. Located in Toronto, Ontario, iMetal has been in the industry almost 50 years and continues to grow; iMetal came to TechWyse for a new website.

Requirements

iMetal’s previous website design was looking outdated and lacked a proper image gallery to show off all of the wonderful work. The client understood the importance of an online presence and came to TechWyse for a custom website design and online solution.

After our first client review, we determined the following website requirements:

• Custom website design and development
• Content management system
• Search engine friendly website development
• User-friendly website design/layout
• Categorized image gallery

Results

The website has been well received since the launch. Some of the website functions include:

• A website admin (CMS) that allows the client to update the following:
  • News and Events manager that allows the admin to add/edit/delete news and events that will feed through automatically to the homepage and the news and events section of the website
  • Portfolio manager that allows the admin to add categories and associate images with a category, title and description
  • Video manager that allows the admin to upload video files and apply a still image for video recognition
• A client portal that allows the admin to:
  • Add new client projects and associate the progress of the project via imagery
• Contact form integration

The new website design reflects a modern while using a metal themed creative approach to match the companies’ foundation.
