About Dr Ho Now

Dr Ho Now is a leading North American developer of natural healing and therapy products. Anyone one that has watched the shopping channel, read a magazine or been to a trade show will surely know at least one of Dr Ho’s products: 

  • Digestive Detox
  • Dual Muscle therapy
  • Neck Comforter
  • Vitamin and Supplement Line

As a company familiar with several traditional marketing methods, Dr. Ho were seeking a local Toronto Canada based company they could trust and rely on to develop an image online and promote all products offered on search engines.

Requirements

Dr Ho originally came to TechWyse for internet marketing services. During the initial review phase of the project, TechWyse recommended combining Dr Ho’s four major product lines into a single ecommerce website.

This recommendation was given for various reasons:

Develop a Single Online Brand

Previously Dr. Ho had a unique site for each product line - each looking slightly different from the other. 

Brand Focus

Since all products would now be on a single website, Dr Ho Now would be able to focus on their brand and product lines rather than product fulfillment.

Improved Website Conversion Statistics

Now that all products would be on a single website, Dr Ho would have the potential to up sell an existing or new customer with the other products being offered by the company.

eCommerce Capability

Dr Ho wanted far greater control over ecommerce abilities including custom tax filters, shipping calculator and regional selection.  This was achieved by suggesting XCart.

Results

The new Dr Ho Now website took almost 8 months to complete from requirements gathering, initial documentation to site launch.

Launching this site took extra planning as we had to consider the existing web traffic.  Since Dr Ho Now previously had 4 unique sites up and running for a number or years, we needed to make sure that existing customers were still able to get to the new Dr Ho Now website from old newsletters or bookmarks.  Because of this requirement and extensive list of redirects was created to funnel existing customers to the new site. 

Some of the Dr Ho Now website development features include: 

  1. Develop a sales funnel to help guide existing and potential customers to the product they are looking for. 
  2. Newsletter signup and submission tool. 
  3. Quick Contact forms and Live Chat on every page of the site the site convert sales.
  4. Ecommerce integration using XCart.

Even though the new Dr Ho Now site has been live since January, the site has been in a state of constant improvement. Many new improvements have been launched since the initial website launch. Some of these improvements include A/B testing using Website Optimizer, improvements to the shipping system, increased administrative functionalities and adding French, Spanish and Chinese versions of various product pages.
