Project Manager - Website Development

TechWyse IT Solutions is a leader in internet marketing and web development related services. The positions (3 - 4) each require a knowledge of general project management. A strong written and spoken knowledge of the English language will also help in developing your skills at project management.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients to and development teams to ensure successful release of website development projects
- Developing requirements documentation
- Authoring website development proposals
- Aid in time management and project quotation costing
- Ensuring milestone deadlines are met
- Communicate with clients throughout design process
- Some project management experience or willingness to learn project management is also considered a plus
Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years previous experience as a project manager
- Candidate should have fluent written and use of English language
- Some light experience with Macromedia development tools including Dreamweaver, Fireworks and FLASH technologies including ActionScript (an asset)
- Some experience with HTML, PHP, ASP and JavaScript, database connectivity (an asset)
- Some experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) (an asset)
- Experience with HTML Forms (an asset)
- Must be comfortable speaking with clients

Sales Consultant

We are seeking an experienced salesperson who is both aggressive and self-motivated to close sales of the TechWyse website development services to potential clients. Account management duties are also required.
Responsibilities:
- Introduce, demonstrate and explain several internet marketing related services to potential clients. (training provided)
- Introduce, demonstrate and explain website development services potential clients.
- Heavy telephone sales for accounts and prospects across North America.
- Local travel to meetings based in Toronto, Ontario.
- Work company exhibit booths at conferences and trade shows throughout the U.S. and Canada.
- Present company services at various society meetings.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships. Nurture existing client relationships to open new business opportunities
- Work directly with management to identify, contact and penetrate new and existing accounts
- Use contact management software to track and communicate with prospects and clients; other sales-related functions
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 year background of successful field and telephone sales
- Experience with Internet and its technical functionality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective closer with a high level of integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- A professional, persuasive manner, conduct and presence
- A demonstrated track record of success in another field of sales may also be acceptable
- Valid driver's license and a car is required; a company car may be provided after 6 months

Search Engine Optimization Specialist
IMMEDIATE OPENING!
Responsibilities:
- Work as a team member with website design and development staff
- Optimize HTML code for META tags, keyword descriptions, page titles, etc. to influence scoring (ranking) for natural search results
- Monitor and maintain search engine rankings
- Develop 'Landing' and 'Doorway' pages
- Manage PPC bid services for clients on Overture and AdWords
- Write PPC editorial descriptions for client services and products
- Add and delete PPC keywords, modify descriptions and adjust pricing as necessary
- Prepare, analyze and present monthly reports to clients; discuss performance with clients
- Some sales of SEO services to clients - additional PPC word levels, upgraded services, etc.
- Conduct search engine research and adapt to industry trends

Working knowledge of Linux (command prompt) shell scripts, (Perl a plus) either PHP or ASP with database connectivity, database design, customer support and networking. We're looking for a self-starter, motivated, communicative, resourceful problem-solver.
Responsibilities:
- Manage webservers for operation and performance
- Manage e-mail accounts for clients
- Manage domain names: new registrations, expirations and transfers
- Assist clients in establishing e-mail accounts on their computers and accessing e-mail
- Troubleshoot and repair internal systems
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years previous experience in network administration required
- Experience with Windows 2003 Server, WIN 2000 Client, Outlook, e-mail systems
- Experience with Linux; scripting

Website Developer/Designer

A strong written and spoken knowledge of the English language will also help in developing your skills at project management.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients to create and submit 'comps' of website layouts
- Develop website code and functionality
- Develop and create website content and work with copywriting staff to add content to websites
- Develop online forms
- Complete website creation, launch completed sites
- Create and develop FLASH animations (not required)
- Work as a team member with website design and development staff
- Communicate with clients throughout design process
- Some project management experience or willingness to learn project management is also considered a plus
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years previous experience as a professional web developer required
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate their own portfolio of website designs and clients; high-quality work examples are required
- Experience with Macromedia development tools including Dreamweaver, Fireworks and FLASH technologies including ActionScript a plus
- Experience with Adobe development tools including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with Microsoft development tools including FrontPage
- Experience with HTML, PHP, ASP and JavaScript, database connectivity
- Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Experience with HTML Forms
- Experience with video encoding a plus
