Just to mention that feeds are originated from blogs and if the same feeds are reverted back to blog, search engines will identify it as duplicate content and can effect the search engine rankings of your website. There is no issue if your website is for private purpose and not optimized for Search Engines.

This is a great list of plugins. Do you have any recommendations on a free plugin to automatically turn RSS feeds into blog posts? I want to put one of the Consumer Product Safety Commission's RSS feeds into my blog.

Anderson, there is no need to do anything with css, just go to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-postratings/ and install the plugin as per their instruction. After installation ratings can be managed from the admin like changing the star image to some other image, how many stars to display and their value, view the persons who have made the ratings, and lot more !

I loved this article PG! WordPress has come so far in a very fast timeframe. We are now seeing people develop full blown CMS websites with it. Who knows – give it another couple of years and we may see it become the ultimate standard with developers.

Nice article on wp plugins. You’ve explained all in detail. Some of them are new to me and i will start experimenting with it. I have recently switched to Wordpress from Blogger, and am now testing the waters on WP. So far I am impressed with its features! Will see if the feeling continues! Im just a local Toronto web designer!
