Harvesting Performance Keywords in Google Analytics

Is Google Analytics Your Top Choice?

What percentages of your visitors are making it to your finish line? How many visors purchase your product or make an enquiry. Once you learn your successes it’s time to work on improving weaker areas of all aspects of your site that are not performing well for you. Use it to track entire campaigns, with special filters you can extract even more data from Google Analytics to improve your AdWords spending. To me, like it or not, that’s why sister Analytics and brother AdWords are a great combination. For your PPC spending Analytics is like a fine tooth comb, especially when you take a close look at conversion keyword performance from all sources. Make good use of the information. Let me give you an example with a quick video.

The Google Analytics interface requires learning and exploring, then it starts to become apparent what level of vision and analysis power you have to change the future. These website statistics are goal focused. You will you soon figure it out that the goals of your site are at the core actionable statistics research.

Analytics Tip

When you see the "/" in your Google Analytic stats it is your website’s home page. In order to change it you need to set the default page in Google Analytics to the URL of your homepage, e.g. index.html.

What Happens With the Data in Google Analytics?

Traffic statistics you get from Google some think will be used as data they collect to provide better advertising relevancy making there dominance a monopoly, if it isn’t already. In a sense you are helping your competition if there is any merit to this belief, providing Google with conversion data is hard earned website statistics that rightfully belongs to the website owner unless otherwise agreed upon. The fact is Google owns the data in Analytics. Even so, Analytics and AdWords are an unbeatable duo when played in harmony.

Are there Other Ways to do Website Analysis?

The good news is yes but I still recommend Google Analytics implementation if you are an AdWords user. Other options for tracking your website statistics include stat tracker, StatCounter, AweStats (will analyze log file formats of Apache and IIS servers) or Log file analyzer- good for generating custom log file reports. Learn web analyzer tools to maximize your marketing and advertising efforts for optimal ROI. Quickly discover which keywords convert the best, this can mean larger profits overnight. You can find out the pages which deliver the strongest sales conversion and dig deeper to learn why. See what websites send you the most customers. Use website statistics to help mold a better future for website performance.

Google Analytics, as we all know, helps track website traffic, offering an insight into geo locations of customers and their trends. But, these I feel are mere facilitators offering goal focused information data on customer traffic. These are to be leveraged to rectify existing drawbacks and to devise remedial measures for goal fulfillment, hastening the success of online marketing campaigns

What ultimately demands a strong persuasion element (sometimes in the form of keyword) that leads the visitor to our site. Actually customer tracking is a barometer’ that measures the temperature level of our business. All the more we have to go deeper and deeper to meet the persuasion level of our idiosyncratic visitors. It is better to go a step ahead from simple keyword-visitor tracking to broader market studies, like visitors’ interaction level with competitors and HOW? You’ve made the proper tracking aspects here. Cheers!

  3. Another very useful part of Analytics is SEO. Knowing high performance keywords (money keywords) makes SEO efforts more predictable.

True, Google Analytics is the most preferred web analytics tool out there. But it has some real cons too. There are only limited facilities for data integration and modification and there is no way to add off line sales or internal data into the tool. Most importantly the conversion tracking facility in the tool lets Google know how much the advertisers make using the Google service. And by knowing this figure Google can play with its minimum bid price!
