Google is a class apart from the rest of the search engines or application builders. Searching is not just about looking for information, but also relevant information that provides us alternatives and pictures / videos. As they say "Action speaks louder than words", I am sure Google is but going to be the most sought after and obvious choice for anything on the internet

Thanks Google for bringing in social search, really a good step from Google. It is equally interesting to see the pulled search results including what members of our social circle has shared online. This feature would be more useful for people who're having a large number of friends in online communities.

Liked the feature where can can find the reviews made by our friends through Google social search. Such reviews definitely helps us to make a decision without further searching. The videos found in http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/10/introducing-google-social-search-i.html was very helpful in understanding how it works. Great blog Asha !
