Yes Bianca this is a bit late. It’s pretty surprising that this functionality wasn’t available earlier, as Google Video introduced the same feature over two years ago. I find it not a big new feature but it’s certainly one that will come in handy. But kudos to to the feature -YouTube will also automatically detect when someone mentions a time in a video comment and add a hyperlink to that point in the video.

“The latest a bit late” but I like it! I am also wondering why it took so long for YouTube to add this feature. As you said I had been using Splicd and found myself going away from YouTube too long and was also having some issues. Now that they have deeplinking, I can do as I like, and stay tuned into YouTube!

A very nice addition indeed! Thanks for letting us know about the addition of this feature to Youtube.
Yes this is a nice little update, however I think it might be a sign of how YouTube is becoming too big and has yet to address larger issues such as the comment overflow or thumbnail abuse.
