The bigger picture here folks is that for the first time in marketing history, we can measure (to the dollar) how our efforts are rewarding us. Not just that, any Analytics we test, measure and figure out how to improve will also work toward our offline campaigns as well. Consider how intimately personal (in marketing terms) you can get to figure out exactly who your target market is...and isn't.

Then, refocusing your efforts in the areas that leverage your returns and preventing putting dollars towards the efforts that are wasting your time or aren't as profitable.
That's the really big deal behind proper Analytical understanding.

Good post Isaac!
From a shop keeper to little businesses or major companies, knowing their spending and returns (vital) statistics is a top priority. Business groups spend fortunes on surveys and market research to gather data about users, but seem less interested in taking efforts to know their ROI. Owning a website is not an end in itself.....but knowing how it works and how worthy its is the important part.

Yes, GA is a nice tool to guage our ROI. Websites are sure rewarding investments, there won't be any second thought in this regard. It depends a lot on how we utilize the immense online marketing utilities to reap rich rewards with our site. By assessing ROI you will be able to get the greatest advantage from the money you do spend on marketing and promotion.
Nice reminding Isacc!

Very true! Any site which drives business should have tools mentioned above to meassure their online business. Most of the companies are diverting their marketing expenditure in their online presence as it has proved to be a ripe area.

Just a website put up without meassuring tools like "lead Management" or Google Analytics how we are supposed to know about the marketing efforts?

So are you investing on your website meassurement tools?
