Everything You Need to Know about Panda 4.0

The most important update and the biggest algorithm upset of the year began rolling out on May 20, 2014. Like all Panda updates, Panda 4.0, like all Panda updates is designed to improve the rankings of sites with high-quality content while reducing the ranking of sites with thin or low-quality content. The main points of this update are penalizing aggregated content and thin content as well as rewarding high quality content.

If Your Content Marketing is for Everybody, It’s for Nobody

In order to create content that appeals to your target audiences is it essential to answer several questions including who is it for? Why are you making this content? What’s in it for the reader? One of the most important considerations to make when creating content is whether or not they can find this content somewhere else or if they would even notice if it was not provided to them.

Twitter Now Supports Animated GIFs: Why This Is Good For Marketers

On June 18th Twitter announced that it now supports animated GIFs, effectively removing the need for third-party image hosting like Imgur. GIFs will not animate automatically in your feed but will instead include an overlay of a white play button overtop. When clicked, the GIF will play right there in your feed. This addition unlocks great advertising opportunities for content marketers allowing them to stand out in Twitter feeds and capture the attention of your audience.

Google My Business: New Tools for Small Business Owners
