A few interesting ideas were raised in the article, including: “Instead of doing the calculations before taking action, many businesses spend time or money to get a Facebook or Twitter presence and then look at metrics after the fact.” A great article with some great tips for businesses of all sizes.

Enhanced Site Links in Google AdWords

Google recently announced a useful new feature to AdWords advertisers. Site links are those links that appear underneath the main results, they are usually links like “About Us” or “Contact.” Google is now opening up expanded site links with customizable copy to AdWords ads. Think five ads for the price of one!

Interesting Breakdown of Social Network Use in the U.S.

There are an abundance of new social media sites that spring up every year. The most successful as of late has been Pinterest. This infographic puts social site popularity into perspective by clearly display monthly unique visitors and average time spent per month. Facebook leads the way with 167 unique visitors per month with an average of about 6.5 hours time spent per month.
