Ok so for those of you that know me, I do take special interest in the Super Bowl. One reason is that I really like NFL Football. Another reason is that I REALLY love advertising. I wrote a blog after 2007 Super Bowl about the commercials that were aired. Specifically, which ones I thought worked and which ones did not.
Well I thought I would give our blog community an early present this year. For those of you that want to see the commercials before the Steelers and Cardinals kickoff, or for those of you that live in Canada and will never even get those great commercials, here is a sample of the commercials that will be aired!
Super Bowl Commercials 2009
Come back early next week for an analysis of who I think the winners and losers were!
Thanks to Chris Finke for these.

Wow great! Right low-down of super bowl commercials. You’ve done a perfect job to make the thousands of NFL supporters gleam. They can watch their favoured teams commercials at once, before the extravaganza kicks off.
Boy some cool ads there! Just loved the Career Builder and Cars.com ones. With ads like these it’s gonna be non-stop entertainment on TV this Super Bowl season.
Hey, some of the ads are just recycled old stuff. They are anything but “entertaining” if you’ve seen the old ones. It’s amazing that companies are still willing to spend millions for ads like these!
No matter which is your favorite, the advertisers are playing a nice part with innovative ideas. Although many commercials may be more memorable than others, in my mind, cars.com gets my vote for best commercial!
Well I am not a couch potato but I must say that some of those ads are really couched with creativity. And I won’t mind if they put me on the couch just to watch them!
The commercials are usually, overall, pretty entertaining. It is understood that almost all the Super bowl ad themes reflect women & kids. Some are nicely nuanced, especially cars.com.
And Bianca you can be a couch potato at least for these super bowling times
