Happy new year everyone! We hope that you all had a safe and joyous end to 2012!

To kick off the new year, I would like to share our guru team's predictions for 2013.

Search Engine Optimization Predications 2013:

The last couple years have been an exciting and nerve-wracking time for SEOs. The Panda and Penguin updates drastically changed many SEO strategies for both on-page and off-page optimization. Lots of people in the Internet marketing business have been having great discussions about what to expect from 2013, so it's only appropriate that I chime in with my own predictions!

Paid Search Predictions 2013:

2012 saw a lot of new advancements in paid search advertising with exciting enhancements to the Google Search & Display network. The world of paid search will continue to see new and exciting features as 2012 beta’s become more standard product offerings in 2013. There are a few industry trends that are important considerations for all digital marketers. Understanding these trends and applying creative marketing ideas to these opportunities will be the differentiator between advertisers who keep to the status quo versus those who are proactively implementing new robust campaigns designed to capitalize on emerging Google search and display trends. Social Media Predictions 2013:

When trying to predict the future, it’s probably wise to look at the past. This year we saw Pinterest really take off, we also saw a major redesign of LinkedIn, and Instagram was sold to Facebook for $1 Billion. We also saw Facebook become a public company. Looking forward, 2013 will likely set another record for social media monetization; both on the software being able to monetize its users and agencies being able to monetize the management and monitoring brand accounts.     A lot of people will tell you to buy fans and followers and I would advise you not to. If you do buy fans and followers, it is highly unlikely that these bought fans/followers will share your content, comment on your content or really communicate with your brand.
